posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) opened a teaser website and began streaming a 360° promotional video for a new horror title on Monday. The live-action video shows the approach to a shrine at night.
NIS opened a separate teaser website earlier this month that streamed live-action videos of a dark room.
The video game developer opened another separate teaser website in March and revealed the Hakoniwa Company Works simulation role-playing game for PlayStation 4 earlier this month. NIS also opened different teaser sites in January to announce its new Tsuihō Senkyo (Exile Election) adventure game, which will ship on April 27.
The developer is best known for the Disgaea game series. The company has also developed the La Pucelle: Tactics, Phantom Brave, and The Guided Fate Paradox (Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei no Paradox) games. Some of the company's most recent titles include the A Rose in the Twilight (Rose to Tasogare no Kojō) puzzle platforming game and the Shin Hayarigami 2 horror adventure game, which shipped last year. NIS developed the Yomawari PlayStation Vita horror game and released it in Japan in October 2015. The game then shipped for PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe and launched worldwide for PC via Steam last October.
