2nd Digimon Adventure tri. Film's Home Video Release With English Dub Slated for August 15

Shout! Factory confirmed with ANN on Thursday that its DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases for Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 2: Determination, the second Digimon Adventure tri. film, are slated for August 15. The release will include both English and Japanese audio.
Eleven Arts and Toei Animation had premiered the English-dubbed version of the first film, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 1: Reunion, in theaters in the United States and Canada last September. Toei Animation told ANN on Thursday that it is still in discussions on the possibility of a theatrical release for the second film, but nothing has been confirmed.
Shout! Factory previously confirmed plans to release the first three films in the six-part film series with both English and Japanese audio on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, and also digitally through electronic sell-through (EST) distribution. The DVD and Blu-ray Disc for the first film will ship on May 16.
The first film opened in Japan in November 2015, the second opened in March 2016. The third film, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 3: Confession, opened in Japan on September 24, while the fourth film, Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 4: Loss, opened on February 25. The fifth film is slated for this year.
Crunchyroll started streaming all four films on the same day they opened in Japan.
