posted on by Rai Kelly

Famitsu video game news website revealed on Tuesday that the PlayStation 4 version of Zero Time Dilemma is set for release on August 17 in Japan. The game will be remastered with HD graphics, as shown below:

Aksys Games is releasing the game on PlayStation 4 in North America. The game will also have remastered HD graphics, as well as English and Japanese voice options. Amazon is currently listing a Western release for August 18, 2017.

The game originally shipped on the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe on June 28, and in Japan on June 30. Spike Chunsoft released the game on PC via Steam on June 29.

Chunsoft developed the first two games in the series. Aksys Games released the Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward puzzle adventure game on PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS in 2012. The game is a sequel to 2009's Nintendo DS game 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. Spike Chunsoft and Aksys Games released the two earlier games in a combo pack for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC in March.
