Chronos Ruler Anime Reveals 2nd Key Visual, July 7 Premiere

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

The official website for the television anime of Taiwanese creator PONJEA's Chronos Ruler (Jikan no Shihaisha) manga revealed the show's July 7 premiere date on Sunday. The website also revealed a new key visual.

The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto on July 7 at 24:30 (effectively July 8 at 12:30 a.m.). The series will also stream on dAnime Store, Amazon Video, Amazon Prime, AbemaTV, ABEMA Video, U-NEXT, Anime Hōdai, Rakuten ShowTime, Niconico, and Niconico Livestream in Japan.

The manga centers on "Chronos Rulers," those who fight the time-eating demons that appear when people wish they could turn back time. The Chronos Rulers fight a time-manipulation battle against these demons.

Masato Matsune (Chaos Dragon) is directing the series at project No.9 (And you thought there is never a girl online?, Girls Beyond the Wasteland, Tenshi no 3P!). Sharakusai is the assistant director. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, RIN-NE, Handa-kun) is handling the series composition, and is penning the scripts alongside director Matsune and scriptwriter Hiroyuki Yoshino (The Qwaser of Stigmata, Sound of the Sky). Hiroya Iijima (Afro Samurai, Dai - Shogun - Great Revolution) is designing the characters, and Haruo Miyagawa (The Perfect Insider, Izetta: The Last Witch) is the prop designer. Evan Call (Big Order, Violet Evergarden) is composing the music. Fo'xTails is performing the opening theme song "RULER GAME," and Nagi Yanagi is performing the ending theme song "Jikan wa Mado no Mukōgawa." (Time is Beyond the Window).

Update: Added in ending theme song title. Thanks, KH91.
