This year's 31st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on Monday is teasing that Eiichiro Oda's One Piece franchise is getting 10 "big projects" for the manga's 20th anniversary issue of the Shonen Jump magazine.

The manga's official 20th anniversary is on July 22, and so the 33rd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on July 15 will be the manga's 20th anniversary commemoration issue. The 31st issue also teases that something will happen on July 22.

The One Piece anime will have a new two-hour special titled One Piece Episode of East Blue: Luffy to 4-nin no Nakama no Daibōken (pictured at right) on August 26. The special will be a completely new work, featuring reanimated scenes from the beginning of the series through when the crew enters the Grand Line. One Piece is also getting its own three-issue magazine starting on July 7 to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

Oda's original manga has 350 million copies in print in Japan and 66 million copies in print outside of Japan. Shueisha published the manga's 85th volume on May 2, and will publish the 86th volume on August 4.

Update: The announcements are for 10 projects that will appear in the 20th anniversary issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
