posted on by Alex Mateo

FUNimation Entertainment revealed on its Twitter account on Wednesday that its home video and streaming rights for Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor, the sequel to the first Darker than Black anime series will expire on August 31.

Funimation's license for the first season of the Darker than Black anime expired in January 2016.

Crunchyroll began streaming Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor anime in February, for members in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, and South Africa. The first series is streaming on Amazon Prime, and is available in Japanese with English subtitles and with FUNimation Entertainment's English dub.

Funimation shipped the second season on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2011, and rereleased it in 2013 and 2015.
