Nintendo Seeks 3DCG Designer for The Legend of Zelda Game Series

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Nintendo's official website posted a job listing for a 3DCG designer for terrain in The Legend of Zelda game series. The job duties include producing fields, dungeons, and other terrain for in-game use. Depending on aptitude, successful applicants may also be involved with level design and concept art.

The job posting also lists pay and other details for the position, which will be at Nintendo's headquarters in Kyoto. The website is accepting applications now, and applicants will receive notification about the results of the screening process within about one month.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild (seen above right) launched for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U in Mach 2017. Nintendo revealed in April that as of March 31 the game has sold 8.48 million units for the Switch worldwide. As of June 3, the game has sold 1,004,689 physical copies for the Switch in Japan.
