Dragon Quest XI Game Ships 4 Million Copies Worldwide

The Mainichi Shimbun's Mantan Web website revealed on Thursday that Square Enix's Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age (Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete) game has shipped 4 million copies worldwide, including digital download copies.

The game launched for both PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) in North America and Europe on September 4. The game shipped in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo 3DS in July 2017.

Square Enix is producing a Switch version of the game under the title Dragon Quest XI S: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete.
