The Morose Mononokean II Anime to Have 13 Episodes

The official website for Fukigen na Mononokean Tsuzuki (The Morose Mononokean II), the second television anime season of Kiri Wazawa's The Morose Mononokean (Fukigen na Mononokean) manga, is listing that the anime will have a total of 13 episodes across four home video releases.
Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan, and the first episode is available now. The anime premiered in Japan on AT-X on January 5 at 9:00 p.m.
Itsuro Kawasaki (Magical Girl Ore, Rental Magica, Shining Hearts, Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION) is directing the season at Pierrot Plus. Takao Yoshioka (Ikki Tousen, High School DxD, Your Lie in April) is returning to handle series composition. Mizuki Aoba (Minna Atsumare! Falcom Gakuen SC) is replacing Atsuko Kageyama as character designer.
The first television anime season premiered in 2016, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Funimation released the series on home video in January 2018.
