Cyberstep's CosmicBreak Game Ends Service in English

posted on by Karen Ressler

The official website for Cyberstep's free-to-play browser game CosmicBreak announced last Tuesday that the game's English version will end service on March 5. However, players will be able to migrate their accounts to the CosmicBreak Japanese servers.

Paid services on the English version have already been disabled, but servers will remain active until the end of service.

The anime-style MMO shooter game allows competitions between teams of up to 30 players. Players are able to customize humanoid robots for battle. The game began service in Japan in 2008, then launched in North America in 2010. The game's official website offers manga in English.

A sequel, CosmicBreak 2, launched in Japan in 2015. A global release was planned at the time, but did not launch.

Thanks to Jamie for the news tip.
