Tencent's TiMi Studio Develops Pokémon Game

China's Tencent conglomerate announced on Monday that its TiMi Studio Group is developing a new game in the Pokémon franchise. The company did not announce further details or a release date for the game.

Tencent sells Nintendo's Switch console in China. TiMi Studiio Group's previous works include smartphone games such as Call of Duty Mobile.

The Pokémon franchise also has the upcoming Pokémon Masters smartphone game by DeNA that will launch for iOS and Android devices this summer.
