Aniplex of America announced on Tuesday that Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia (Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majū Sensen Babylonia), the television anime of the Fate/Grand Order smartphone game's "Dai Nana Tokuiten Zettai Majū Sensen Babylonia" (Order VII: The Absolute Frontline in the War Against the Demonic Beasts: Babylonia) story, will also stream on Crunchyroll "at a later date" after Funimation's stream of the anime. While the announcement did not specify when exactly Crunchyroll will begin streaming the anime, Funimation, Wakanim and Madman Anime Group's AnimeLab will have a 30-day window of streaming exclusivity in their territories.

Funimation will also have a one-year window of streaming exclusivity on the dubbed version.

The anime will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV on October 5 at 11:30 p.m. The anime will also air on MBS and will stream on AbemaTV, Niconico Nama Dōga, Niconico Channel, and d Anime Store. The anime will air for 21 episodes from this October until March 2020.

Aniplex of America will host the North American premiere of the anime's episodes 0, 1, and 2 at Aratani Theatre in Los Angeles' Little Tokyo neighborhood on September 29 at 4:00 p.m.
