We asked the photographer, "What tips can you offer cosplayers to get the shots that they want, and what tips can you offer those getting into cosplay photography to get the shots they want?"
"Preparations is really important. You should try your make-up before shot and check your costume is okay. I dont like to work cosplayer does their everything in last minute, because they always forget something and it effects their morale also photos too.
I think if you want to be a good cosplay photographer you need to have great knowledge about what are you shooting. If you shot a anime character but you didn't watch its anime, it will be hard to pose and far away from reflecting to character to real life. I'm very proud of with my long "watched anime list." also trying to watch every movie adaptation's of comics. So my suggestion is, if you are planning to make a photoshoot with cosplayers, watch its anime/play the game/read the comic before the shooting and have knowledge about it."
