Plot Summary:
Set in an alternate future where there are two types of civilazation. Those who are rich are able to live in Metro City a floating utopia that is populated with humans and robots a like. While those who are poor live on the Earth's surface where the lower class humans and discharged robots created their own utopia out of scrap and metal. In Metro City lived a brilliant scientist named Dr. Tenma who created a robtic boy that resembles his deceased son Toby. Hoping that the robot will make a perfect replacement over the one he lost, but was tormented that the robot he created was nothing like Toby. Abandoned by the only one he sees as a father, Astro Boy embarks on a journey to find a place that would accept him for who he is. Soon he'll discover that his abilities can help save Metro City from a vile politican.
