Trivia:

The Taiwanese live-action drama TV series, "Meteor Garden", starring a famous boy band, F4 and the actress Barbie Hsu, was based on this anime. 

The classical music piece, Adagio in G minor for Strings and Organ by Tomaso Albinoni/Remo Giazotto), is played often throughout the Boys over Flowers TV series.

There is also a japanese liva action drama and a korean live action drama, based on Boys Over Flowers.
