A young man tries to battle back against giant humanoids who feast on humans in this graphic, visceral, and fantastically intense action/horror story. Its great strengths overcome writing and production value inconsistencies.

If this film causes more permanent damage than most Pokémon outings, that's wholly the fault of its main character, Keldeo.

This uninspired vampire tale is sprinkled with occasional bits of cleverness, but its storytelling and characterizations are too ill-defined, its tone is too erratic, and its artistry distorts human body proportions too much. Much better examples of the genre can be found.
