Ayashi no Ceres' creator Watase-sensei had always pictured Kyu-chan's seiyuu (voice actor) to be Shigeru Chiba, but turned out to be Kujira.
When creating the manga, Yuu Watase thought Megumi Hayashibara's voice would fit Aya's character, who is actually really voiced by Yumi Kakazu.
