Trivia:
The reason why characters from the 1997 arcade and XBOX 360 game “Deathsmiles” (デススマイルズ) appear as figures at the start of episode 10 is because the graphics designer for the game is Inoue Junya (井上 淳哉) who is also the author and artist of the BTOOOM! manga.
In episode 10, around 1:00, the 2 figures sitting on the desk with the back facing the viewers are 2 characters from the game Deathsmiles, Casper and Windia.
