In episode 3, at about 09:55, Alshiel refers to the UNISLO shirt that Maou likes to wear all the time. UNISLO is a parody of the famous Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer UNIQLO.
In episode 8, Suzuno tells Emi she learned about modern Japan by watching documentaries one of them was "Lone Lion and Cub" that is a parody of Kazuo Koike's manga "Lone Wolf and Cub"
In episode 9, the fast-food chain introduced SFC is in fact a parody on two things- First, KFC, known in Japan as just Kentucky, or Kenchiki (short for Kentucky Chicken). Second, the short-form customers use for SFC is "sentakki"- Sentakki is the Japanese word for washing machine.
