Momotaro (lit. Peach Taro, often translated as Peach Boy) is character from a popular japanese folktale. There are variants to this tale, but generally the story goes something like this : An childless elderly couple finds a baby boy inside of a giant peach. Old man and woman decide to raise the child as their own and name him Momotaro. After a few years the boy leaves his fosterparents and embarks on quest to island of thieving Oni. On the way Momotaro befriends dog, monkey and pheasant. With his companions Momotaro vanquieshes the band of oni and then returns home as a celebrated hero.

In episode 2, some of the characters that appear during Satan's imagination of recent video games are from Square Soft's Final Fantasy series. The white-haired character is Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, the spiky yellow haired character Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, and the black-haired one with a necklace is Seymour from Final Fantasy X.

In episode 5; 11:15, Nasubi performs the Dempsey Roll, Ippo Makunouchi's signature move from Fighting Spirit/Hajime No Ippo.

In episode 7, at around 8:12 in the episode we can see three main characters from the anime of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Shizuku Mizutani, Haru Yoshida and Asako Natsume. The director for both series is Hiro Kaburaki.
