Trivia:

In Episode 2, the narrator gives an overview of the history of indecency crackdowns in Shimoneta. During this sequence at around the 7:30 mark a picture is shown of an older woman surrounded by burning books. This obvious parody is almost an exact duplication of a famous scene in the 1966 movie Fahrenheit 451 where an old woman chooses to die with her books rather than live without them.

In Episode 6, during the ending theme there is a pool being featured in the scene. This is the "famous" pool in the Japanese AV world, also called "あのプール or ano puuru" or sometimes called "例のプール or rei no puuru". *Extra Note: this pool is also shown at the opening prologue of the anime (always being blown up).

In Episode 9, the title used for the epiosde, “アンドロイドは電気アンマの夢を見るか” (Do Androids Dream of Electric Masseurs ?), is a humorous reference to the famous science fiction novel, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep ?", written by the American novelist Philip Kindred Dick in 1968.
