Trivia:

In episode 33 (Hello from the Countries of the World), the song that played at the end of the episode was “Sekai no kuni kara konnichiwa” (世界の国からこんにちは). The song was written by the Japanese songwriter Nakamura Hachidai (中村 八大) and performed by the famous Japanese Enka singer Minami Haruo (三波春夫) who sang it in 1970 accompanied by a chorus of children of different nationalities to celebrate the World Expo in Oosaka. The episode also features a world expo (albeit for robots) and various nationalities.

In episode 35 (Cassette Girl), the battle between Cassette Girl and the black media law enforcement robot seems to be a homage to the famous opening animation sequence created by Hideaki Anno and his friends to celebrate the 1983 Daicon IV Nihon SF Taikai convention (Japan Science Fiction Convention). Anno and his colleagues later formed Studio Gainax. Anno is the organiser of the Animator Expo project.
