Trivia:

Ali and En were anime exclusive characters around the time the anime was caught up with the manga and were created so Takeuchi can make more story for the manga itself

Al and En's names when put together means the word "alien".

Moonlight Knight bears a similarity with another Manga superhero, Gekko Kamen. Pay attention to their white costumes and turbans for the similarity.

The DiC English dub of this season originally premiered out of order in Canada and the US with episodes 54-65 before 41-53, this would later be corrected in re-runs of both seasons.

The DiC English dub of this season was originally pulled from airwaves in the USA after 65 episodes in 1995 due to low ratings. Many dedicated Sailor Moon fans were so devastated by this, that they launched an online campaign called “Save Our Sailors”. The purpose of S.O.S. was to convince DiC to return the show to American airwaves by means of petitions and buying Pop Tarts by the bulk and other products from sponsors past. In 1997, General Mills, through its subsidiary The Program Exchange, ultimately agreed to syndicate Sailor Moon and air the remaining 17 episodes on Cartoon Network's programming block Toonami. The partnership lasted until 2004.
