Trivia:

The inter-episode segments with the girls sitting on cushions dressed in kimonos is a reference to the (very) long-running TV series "Shouten" (笑点="laughing point"). Six rakugo comedians sit on zabuton (sitting cushions), and try to come up with witty ripostes to the host's suggestions. The rakugoka that is deemed to give the funniest answer receives an extra zabuton. If his gag falls flat, a zabuton is removed.

the names of the angel's biggest rivals, kokomo and Malibu, are actually popular beaches. kokomo in the Caribbean islands, and Malibu in California.
