Plot Summary:

Jazz music is much the stars as the main cast in this story about teens who become friends in late 1960s Japan. Great sounds and good character development bolster what is otherwise a fairly pedestrian character drama.
Hare + Guu Deluxe DVD 1This volume may not represent Haré + Guu at its best, but the truly funny parts are good enough to balance out the lame ones. A must for fans of the original TV series.
