Trivia:

When you read the name of Alucard from right to left, his name is Dracula, a famous vampire.

The way Incogneto is impaled at the end of the final episode, is the way that Vlad Tepes impaled his victims.

The character of Paladin Alexander Anderson is based on actor Edward Van Sloan who played Prof. Abraham Van Hellsing in "Dracula (1931)".

In episode 11, an SAS solider says that Bokken Castle reminds him of a ghost story about "....The end of World War II, and a castle in Transylvania, and the devil that lived there." This is a reference to the F. Paul Wilson Novel (and Movie) 'The Keep'. Incedentally, there is a character in the episode named 'Paul Wilson'.
