During the Death March across the USA, Sena takes a detour and ends up being picked by a professional football team, but he leaves before his name is announced.

LaDanian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers is known for being one of the elite running backs in the NFL. He also wears the jersey number 21, and an eyeshield every game, just like Sena

In episode 16 when searching for the real criminals they meet Nabeshin from Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemy. He is the mechanic.

In episode 108, as Sena is forced to become a detective, the camera zooms out and the episode title doors from Detective Conan close on him during the commercial break. Then the doors open again when it resumes.
