Trivia:
The main character in the show, 'Bincho-tan', wears a piece of charcoal on her head. The word "binchotan" refers to a type of charcoal which is made from "carbonized wood" in Japan. It comes in two varieties "white" and "black". White being the more common of the two.
Yutaka asks Konata if she heard of "Binchou-tan" in one of the 4-panel strips of the "Lucky Star" manga.
