_Minna Agechau_ was to be Central Park Media's first anime release (under the U.S. Manga Corps label), but was canceled due to the media uproar, which in part centered around the pair of paper pink panties which were to be included in the release. Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. bought back all of the copies.

If this film causes more permanent damage than most Pokémon outings, that's wholly the fault of its main character, Keldeo.
On the whole, The Battle for Doldrey is a mixed bag of strengths and weaknesses. While that may be true of most things, there are few places where those lines are so clearly drawn as in this film.
The plot, story content, and cast composition are as generic as they come, but it achieves just enough of a fun factor that watching it isn't a total waste of time. Not outright bad, but not very good, either.
