In the opening credits, and scattered throughout the anime, a zodiac wheel with the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac appears, usually divided into two halves: East (東) and West (西). However, it may seem strange to a Westerner that the symbol for West is on the right, and East on the left. This is because, contrary to Western mapmaking custom, traditional maps throughout Asia have South at the top of the map, not at the bottom, thus reversing the positions of East and West.
In Episode 15, the seiyuu for Alice Uzuki is Mi~ko, the singer of Mosaic.WAV, who did both of the opening theme songs.
