Trivia:

Various real life arcade games are shown including, but not limited to, Virtua Fighter, Galaga, and the Japan-only Crazy Climber, Fantasy Zone, and Tranquilizer Gun.

The stadium where Fubuki participates in her first national tournament is shaped like Pac-Man.

The logo for Arashi is a modified Space Invader, which also has a cameo in the scene where Chizuru is talking with the arcade manager (Missile Command can be seen a few seconds later). In addition, the name Arashi is Japanese for Tempest, another famous arcade game.

When Fubuki travels to Hell's River, she is dressed similar to Ryu from the Street Fighter game series. Hanako is then dressed as Ken Masters from the same series, and even uses one of Ken's signature moves, the Dragon Punch, when she appears. Additionally, the main villian is dressed as Akuma, who is the hated rival of Ryu & Ken in the Street Fighter series.

When Fubuki and Hanako are traveling to the arcade after Fubuki's first tournament victory, a claw machine can be seen grabbing a yellow and brown Sergeant Keroro from Mine Yoshizaki's (the creator's) other manga, Sgt. Frog.

When the competitors for the B.A.G. Tournament appear, one of the first participants is Kururu (from the creator's other series Sgt. Frog/Keroro Gunso) dressed in his own human body suit. We don't see how well he does, though.

The raptor that is genetically engineered to fight Fubuki in Episode 3 is based off of Talon from the video game Primal Rage.
