Plot Summary:
Its summertime and the whole Student Council decided to go to a summer trip, for relaxation and ideas for the Festival. Their plans though quickly go wrong when the area they where to visit is under heavy rain and they are caught unprepared. Forced to change their hotels, they learn that wherever they go they have fun as good friends, location doesn’t matter. The setting for the episode is between episode 6 and 7.

Jazz music is much the stars as the main cast in this story about teens who become friends in late 1960s Japan. Great sounds and good character development bolster what is otherwise a fairly pedestrian character drama.
Utawarerumono DVD 2The first story arc finishes, a second begins, and several characters either get introduced or take on new roles and allegiances as this solid but unremarkable fantasy story continues. It may not excite, but it should entertain.
