Trivia:

Unlike the previous Pokemon films, Pokemon 4Ever was released in America in a limited release; shown only in a couple hundred theatres in select cities.

The japanese producers animated three new scenes for the american release of Celebi: Voice of the Forest.

Miramax Films did not include the short film "Pikachu's Nervouse Hide and Seek" on the american theatrical release of Pokemon 4Ever.

Miramax's VERY minimal advertisement campaign caused Pokemon 4Ever to take in little money at the box office. After acquiring the rights to the 4th and 5th movies, Miramax claimed that they would "breath life" into the franchise.

The Suicune Ash mentions in "For Ho-Oh the Bell Tolls" is a reference to the one he saw in "Don't Touch That 'Dile" (aka the first episode of Johto Journies) and is not a reference to this movie.

Starting with this movie, Miramax Pictures has taken over distribution rights from Warner Bros.

the dark pokeballs the iron masked maruder used to trap celebi and suicune were the same balls used in the game pokemon coloseum, in that they had the power to turn pokemon evil.
