Towards the latter part of the series when Zaizen starts his plans in motion when he's reading the decrypted data part of it reads: Hi, my name is ****** My voice is my passport Verify me. This phrase is taken directly from the 1992 movie Sneakers.

The ED animation contains many symbols of shamanism and sorcery. One of them (near the end of ED theme) features a half-human, half-animal creature, with deer antlers, a bird-like face, a canine tail, and human limbs. This creature is the famous "Sorcerer" cave painting of Les Trois Frères in French Pyrenees discovered in 1914.

In the episode in which the Methuselah tells Robin about the history of witches, while she is the piece of artwork tilted "Saturn Devouring his Children" by Francisco Goya (also the artist of "The Thrid of May") appears.

In episode 6, when Michael digged up a cranial tomographic scan of their potential target, he referred it as a CT (computed/computerized tomography) scan. However, it is actually a PET (positron emission tomography) scan, which is often used in diagnosis of psychological disorders. The multi-colored tomography is a typical signature of PET scan. Since either method has limitations, brain surgeons and psychiatrists today often use them together for diagnostic purposes.
