Plot Summary: Kannami Yuichi is a "Kildren", a fighter pilot recently sent to Urisu Base to replace a previous one who had died in battle. Like the numerous genetically-engineered pilots before him, he does not age, only to live his life fighting and eventually dying in battle. Rostock and Lautern, 2 different companies have been engaged in a brutal war that has no beginning or end, rather the battles they create serve to "entertain" the peacetime people. Yuichi befriends the base commander, Kusanagi Suito, a woman who endures a long dark past. As their relationship grows, Yuichi learns the bittersweet moments of life, and the inescapable fate he has been placed in.

This isn't so much an error as a suggestion, but I didn't see how else to report this. I feel the plot summary gives away aspects of the story that are supposed to be discovered as it unfolds. Specifically, "he does not age, only to live his life fighting and eventually dying in battle. Rostock and Lautern, 2 different companies have been engaged in a brutal war that has no beginning or end, rather the battles they create serve to "entertain" the peacetime people." To me, it wasn't clear until near the end, when the kildren begin questioning themselves and their purpose, that this war was made up just for entertaining the populace. I'll have to give it a second watch, perhaps I was just being dense, but that quote seems like a spoiler to me.

I concurd as well. It's not an error but rather a spoiler. Too much of what is written in the plot summary are meant to be discovered as slowly and subtly uncovering plot clues. Revealing them in here would definitely diminish the entertainment value of the people watching it the first time.

Spoiler segments that ought to be removed:
-Like the numerous genetically-engineered pilots before him, he does not age, only to live his life fighting and eventually dying in battle. Rostock and Lautern, 2 different companies have been engaged in a brutal war that has no beginning or end, rather the battles they create serve to "entertain" the peacetime people (This entire segment is not blatantly revealed, but rather revaled over the course of the movie)
-who are destined to live eternally in their adolescence (I'm not too sure abt this, as the movie was advertised in my country under a tagline that hinted at their adolescence immortality)
-a "war as entertainment" organized and operated by adults. (Another segment of spoilers; the "Fake war" wasn't known until later)

yeah, as the people above said, too much spoiler... maybe this is the reason why the rate is sooo low
anyway it can affect the goodness of the show so please remove immediately
