Jazz music is much the stars as the main cast in this story about teens who become friends in late 1960s Japan. Great sounds and good character development bolster what is otherwise a fairly pedestrian character drama.
Le Chevalier D'Eon DVD 4Plot twists, surprises, and historical context abound as the setting shifts to England. Superb use of music and storytelling contribute to making this one of the year's best individual volumes of anime.
