Plot Summary:
The second in a series of short story anthologies by the seminal gekiga mangaka Yoshihiro Tatsumi - this volume contains eight stories originally published in 1970. Thematically, Abandon The Old In Tokyo is a continuation of The Push Man: working class male protagonists in gritty urban settings dealing with poverty, alienation, sexual dysfunction and a general disconnection from society.
