A young man tries to battle back against giant humanoids who feast on humans in this graphic, visceral, and fantastically intense action/horror story. Its great strengths overcome writing and production value inconsistencies.

If this film causes more permanent damage than most Pokémon outings, that's wholly the fault of its main character, Keldeo.

More antics of the cross-dressing Haruhi and the bishonen Host Club guys continue as the series delves into backstories. While these episodes do show some depth, for the most part they stick to the series' strength: shallow, silly fun. In that sense, they work just fine.
