Set in the distant future, the world of MELTY LANCER is one where intergalactic terror attacks are the norm and are usually ably dealt with by the Galaxy Police Organization. However, when a powerful new alien terror group appears, they demand attention and resources that the GPO does not have. Enter Melty Lancer, the codename for a sextet of super-cute and specially trained officers assigned to stopping this new alien menace. In these episodes, Sylvie must take over command when Melvina is forced out of the group. However, Melvina takes the Iyonesco investigation into her own hands as the Meltylancer team tries to clamp down on the terrorist group DEFIANT.
