Jazz music is much the stars as the main cast in this story about teens who become friends in late 1960s Japan. Great sounds and good character development bolster what is otherwise a fairly pedestrian character drama.
Negima! DVD 5This penultimate volume features the best writing and storytelling in the series to date. It's still not enough to elevate the overall series beyond the realm of mediocre, but it does provide some enjoyable episodes that should well please anyone who has stuck with the series so far.
