Pockie Ninja Game Trailer Features Anime Lookalikes

Characters with striking similarities to those from anime titles Bleach and Naruto appear in the above trailer for Pockie Ninja, an "anime-based browser game" that allows players to fight as one of "hundreds of cartoon characters." Previous videos had teased the game under the codename "Project Ninja" last year, but the developer NGames only revealed that it was the company behind the project this week.

The project's website also bears a marked similarity to the website for Eidos' game Mini Ninjas. Despite having characters and music heavily inspired by Bleach and Naruto, the site does not list their creators (Tite Kubo and Masashi Kishimoto, respectively) or their publisher Shueisha in its credits or copyright notice.
