Manga-Creator Life Simulator App Posted on iPhone/iPad

On April 28, the game developer Kairosoft launched a Japanese iPhone/iPad app that simulates the life of a manga creator. In Wakuwaku! Manga Dōjō, the player assumes the role of an aspiring creator who draws one one-shot manga after another in hopes of one day catching a publisher's eye. Then the player must satisfy demanding editors while gaining fans and hopefully launching a 10-million-copy hit series. After overcoming accidents and deadlines, the player may even win a manga award.

The Japanese app runs on the Apple iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices with iOS 3.1 or higher. Kairosoft's other games include Yukemuri Onsen-kyō (a hot springs innkeeper simulator), Game Hatten-Koku (a game developer simulator), Meimon Pocket Gakuin (an elite high school student simulator), and Waiwai Game Hanbaiten (a game shop owner simulator).
