CoMix Wave & Makoto Shinkai Now on Facebook in English

English-language information on new Shinkai film due "soon"
The Japanese anime production company CoMix Wave Films has confirmed with ANN that it launched an official English-language page on the social networking website Facebook for itself and anime director Makoto Shinkai (Voices of a Distant Star, 5 Centimeters Per Second) on Tuesday.
The page currently features a gallery of posters from Shinkai's past films and the official Japanese trailer for Shinkai's upcoming film, Hoshi o Ou Kodomo (Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below), for which it promises to provide more English information "soon."
Hoshi o Ou Kodomo opened in Japanese theaters on May 7. The Japanese art sharing site pixiv also just revealed that it is soliciting fan art based on Shinkai's works for an illustration contest.
