Dub Actresses to Hold L.A. Charity Karaoke Thursday

On Thursday, June 30, We Heart Japan will present a two-hour charity karaoke session in the Little Tokyo district of Los Angeles. The event will feature dub actresses Stephanie Sheh and Cristina Vee (aka Cristina Valenzuela). Proceeds will go to earthquake relief in Japan.
Tickets are $40 per person, and the event will run from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Max Karaoke, on the second floor of the Little Tokyo Shopping Centre. The deadline for reservations is Tuesday, June 28. RSVP to [email protected] with full name, email, and phone number.
According to the website, "You will enjoy a two-hour karaoke box session with Stephanie and Cristina where you can sing and hear others sing." (The actresses will sing along with the attendees if they know the song.)
Participants will also receive an exclusive, limited-edition We Heart Japan postcard with the Gurren Lagann character Yoko, as illustrated by director Hiroyuki Imaishi.
Sheh's dub roles include Eureka in Eureka 7, Micchon in Eden of the East, Orihime in Bleach, Hinata in Naruto, and Mikuru in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Vee's roles include Nanoha in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Mio in K-ON!, and Alisa in the feature film Tekken: Blood Vengeance. She also provides the voices of Noel Vermillion, Nu-12, Lambda-11, and Mu-13 in the BlazBlue game franchise.
