Hot Topic Lists New Sailor Moon T-Shirt in U.S.

Following the listing of Sailor Moon products from the merchandising company Great Eastern Entertainment, the American retail chain Hot Topic now lists a new Sailor Moon t-shirt (pictured) on its website. The online "HT exclusive" is available in junior sizes from XS to 3X, and the 100% cotton girl's shirt retails between US$22.50 and US$26.50.

Hot Topic sold earlier Sailor Moon t-shirts when the anime was still available in North America, and some stores still carry other merchandise.

Sailor Moon has seen a resurgence of interest in recent months, including March's announcement that Kodansha Comics will publish Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon manga and its two-volume prequel Codename: Sailor V starting this September. These is also an Italian videogame for the Nintendo DS and a relicensing by m4e in Germany (PDF).
