The new game is an upgraded version of the original Marvel vs. CAPCOM 3, which was released in Japan and in the United States in February.

The new game will include 12 new characters, including Strider and Firebrand on the CAPCOM side, and Ghost Rider and Hawkeye on the Marvel side. Some characters will also be available for download, bringing to the total playable characters to 50. The game will retail for 4,990 yen (about US$63) in Japan and US$39.99 in America.

The game will also include 8 new stages, as well as a spectator mode, allowing players to watch live online matches.

The official website for the game has released 5 English trailers, which are below. Famitsu is also streaming a trailer on its site.
