Makoto Shinkai Interviewed on NHK's English Show

The current episode of imagine-nation, an English-language television program shown on the international broadcast service NHK World, has an interview with anime director Makoto Shinkai. The program covers comics, anime, and games with features such as interviews and top rankings.
The Shinkai episode already premiered on Tuesday, but its Wednesday screenings are as follows: 11:30 a.m - 12:00 p.m. noon; 3.30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.; and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. NHK lists the available ways that viewers outside Japan can watch NHK World.
Shinkai started creating his own anime titles almost single-handedly, being responsible for the writing, directing, and even voice-acting. His works include She and Her Cat, Voices of a Distant Star, The Place Promised in Our Early Days, 5 Centimeters Per Second, and Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below.
Shinkai will appear as a Guest of Honor at Otakon in Baltimore this week, and he will host the American premiere of his latest film, Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below, with English subtitles.
