Rookiez is Punk'd Band, Mamoru Miyano Make Durarara CD

The J-Rock band ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D is collaborating with voice actor and singer Mamoru Miyano (Death Note, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Ouran High School Host Club) to release a DRRROOKiEZ!! -ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D respect for DRRR!!- album on August 24. Miyano voiced the character of Masaomi Kida in the Durarara!! anime, and ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D sang the second opening theme song, "Complication." The limited edition album will also include a DVD and costs 3,800 yen (about US$). The album itself will contain 11 tracks, including a version of "Complication" sung by Miyano.
ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D also sang the second opening theme song for Blue Exorcist, and the 26th ending theme song for Bleach. The band's single album for "Complication" ranked at #10 for the top-selling CD single by a new artist in Japan in 2010.
The band will host a concert at the Star Lounge music club in Tokyo on October 5, which will kick off a country-wide tour titled "In My World Tour."
Miyano sang the ending theme song for Koutetsu Sangokushi and the opening theme song for Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%. He also sang an insert song for Skip Beat!. In 2008, Miyano's single "…Kimi e" sold 6,995 copies to reach #18 on Oricon's charts. A previous single — the "Soup"/"Hakosora" CD, sold 6,381 copies to also reach #18 on Oricon's charts.
