Haganai Novelist Tries Drawing His Own Characters

Bandai Namco Games updated its official Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Portable game website with character illustrations drawn by Yomi Hirasaka, the original light novel's creator, on Friday. Hirasaka commented that each image was completed in about 30 seconds.
In August, Bandai Namco Games announced the PSP game had been green-lit. The limited edition of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Portable will bundle with the bonus Kirameki School Life SP: the wonder years dating simulation game. An updated promotional video for Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Portable began streaming in September.
The game follows an original scenario and uses a "Live 2D" animation feature for the onscreen characters. The limited edition version of the game, which includes additional game software, a DVD, a special art box, and other bonuses, will be available for the retail price of 10,980 yen (about US$140). The retail price of the regular version is 6,800 yen (about US$90). Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Portable will ship for Sony's portable PSP platform on January 26.
