Final Fantasy XIII-2 Interview Video Streamed

The Gamespot website began streaming an English-dubbed interview with Final Fantasy XIII-2 director Motomu Toriyama and producer Yoshinori Kitase about the role-playing game on Wednesday. In the video, Toriyama and Kitase discussed why Final Fantasy XIII-2's story includes time travel. The two also discussed the changes to the gameplay, the improvements to the game's visual design, and how they incorporated the opinions of the Western fans into the game. Kitase also discussed the game's downloadable content.
Square Enix will release the game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan on December 15, along with a limited-edition PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning Edition Ver.2 bundle. The United States will then receive the game on January 31, and Europe will receive it on February 3.
